3g's and 4g's do not use the same front upper strut mounts, sorry. But Tein already makes them for the early evo's and 4g csm's.

yes 4th gen mirages have two bolt mounts like the 3rd gen but i think the shock piston may be smaller on the 4th gen cuz i know the piston on the 3g is huge

I am in need of something like this. I just put dsm knuckles on the front of my car. And it threw everything way off. How many degrees would you say these are worth? I run factory replacementKYB GR-2 struts. How many sets do you have now?

You can probably get +/- 2 degrees out of these plates. It was enough to make my camber correct with the GVR4 hub conversion, which should be pretty similar to using the DSM stuff.

Are there any issues with using the stock turbo spindle. Hows the ride with these? I would prefer to have some type of bushing in there.

The ride quality in my Mirage was already awful, but putting on the camber plates definitely didn't make it any worse, if that helps.

Anyone know if these are offset, front to back to give proper Caster??

Image

I cannot tell from the photo's, because to me it looks as if they are dead center where the place the strut piston relative to the two mounting plate studs.

Also, is anyone running the extra positive caster rear control arm bushings for a turbo control arm and if so, what are your alignment specs running these plates and offset bushings ??

Any help appreciated, parts waiting in the wind.

Tim

The Yoshi Fab camber plates have the studs centered so if you just install them, yes it will change caster. On my '89 Colt GT I installed the Yoshi Fab camber plates and the NON turbo Super Pro caster bushings on my factory turbo lower control arms. I had to use the non-turbo bracket that secures the rear of the lower control arm to match the non-turbo bushings. I also had to get some stainless steel shims to slide over the factory turbo control arm shaft since the shaft was roughly 19mm thick and the inside diameter of the non-turbo rear lower control arm bushings from Super Pro was around 22mm if memory serves me right.

With the caster bushings and the camber plates together, it put caster back to within stock alignment specs. I was hoping for more caster but I guess factory is better than negative caster.
