Just kind of wondering what ever became of my can. I know its going to be hard because I know they move from person to person. When I sold the car back in 2003 it was a Red 89 Colt GT, with the stock 1.6L with and a s16g. I sold it to a guy in Raleigh/Durham, NC. I know he had plans of putting a 2.0L in it, but was unsure of what happened to it after that. When I sold the car is had 89k miles on it, and had rust in both dog-legs. The front bumper had a cut-out in it to get air to the side-mount. And the side of the car read DOHC TURD where the DOHC TURBO was, on both sides. I really miss the car and just wondered what ever happended to it. If you have any info on it, or are the current owner, post up.

91_laserRS sold it to wantarace, a buddy of mine. The car was a wiring disaster. The car had 6 gauges also, was very strange. He ended up selling it to the deuchebag we now know on here as Lumpy, and I think lumpy was tryin to sell it, but not sure.

Sounds a bit like a pass around. Lumpy was hot and cold, 91_laserRS was hot and cold, too bad the little car wasn't treated right. :x

Sorry pal..
Lumpy turned that thing into a Grade- A Clusterf*ck. If it's any indication of his grimey character, we wouldve banned him LONG AGO.

Not that none of us didnt see that coming.

But I'm sure someone will bring that car back to it's original glory though :)

it seriously makes me sad seeing and knowing of these cars getting completely thrashed by half-assing and jerry-rigged.

but then again one mans junk turns into another man treasure. look at my bucket, had blown rings, interior HVAC controls didnt light up, tach still dont work(:P), axle's were toast, cracked radiator.

ill shut-it now :P

Wow I hate to hear this. The car when I sold it to 91_LaserRS was in no means perfect condition, but it wasn't a fruit and banana. All gauges were installed properly and it actually ran good. Only thing that really need to be done was a set of Valve stem seals, and maybe a general reseal done. I may try and find another one here soon. I miss having something not everyone else has.

BTW I am Redcan, and can't remember my password to that account now.

If you have the VIN, I run the registry.

I can find it from there. Otherwise I am searching based upon too many variables, or it never listed with the current owner/previous owners.

Would be pretty cool to see this go full circle.
