Haven't updated this in a while but I'm still sorting out small things that I left out. I got my tach to work today by using the writeup on Lilevo's site. I took a 90 model DSM tach filter and attached it to my 94 coil using the same two wires that were used on the 90 model coil. I then took the third wire and instead of running it inside the cabin I just attached it to wire #4 (white wire) on the power transistor harness plug, turns out it's the same wire that goes to pin 109 on the ecu (tach signal). The end result is a much easier and cleaner looking install. Maybe this will help someone else in the future.
