is kind of nice have compliments for your car but sometimes is a litle boring and tire specialy When the people dont kwow anything about turbo cars.

I did get a nice compliment from my Mom,she said it was "cute" haha! I haven't smoked anybody with it yet because it hasn't ran much in the year I've owned it so nothing good to say there bahaha

my car isn't a turbo, but people are in awe about the kind of gas mileage I get. A few people ask if my car is a Delorean and a LOT of hispanic people come up to me and ask me how much for it, lol.

I know I'm gonna get flamed for this but they do have their similarities to the ef civics. The hatches do anyway. But the csm's look better imo.

I think the best one's I got where at the drag strip (the strip I go to is filled with V8 douche bags). My buddies would tell me about some of the people in the crowd making dumb as comments or even snickering when I would pull up to the line, every time I would hit 3rd gear (when I got traction) it from laughing to them saying WTF?

kinda look like an EF hatch from the rear, Geo from the side, and 90-93 Accord from the front IMO

My favorite is chicks I meet up with when I'm rolling in the colt instead of the evo. They look all bummed and weirded out that they are sitting in an old econo car. Haha then when you smash on it, all that changes lol. That's a pretty good compliment.

Nobody really looks at my car, not even cops. Don't really get many compliments, apart from every time I pop the hood I get a bunch of people taking photos haha. But there are a few instances that pop to mind...

Over new years, had the car parked out on the road, me and a few mates were chillin nearby. Bunch of kids (15y/o'ish) came walking through, one of them looked at my plate (PSIBRG) and said something along the lines of "HAH, I hate people who put PSI on slow shitty cars... what is this a Civic?" Was pretty obvious they didn't know shit about cars. I decided to get my bullshit on strolled on over and told him it's a 400kw car, runs high 9's. They all laughed. I popped the hood (lots of shiny things) and they all started jumping around going OHHH SHIIT, HE WASN'T LYING!!. The dude who originally hated on it shook my hand 3 times and congratulated me. Good times

Also, back in the day I had a race with a stingray Vette. I had a 4G61T at the time, with a laggy 16G that ran 10psi but spiked up to around 24psi at bout 6000rpm. He got the jump and stayed in front thru 1st and 2nd, once I hit 3rd and got the boost up I reeled him in like he was in reverse. Pulled up at the lights after, guy was grinning ear to ear, gave me the thumbs up and said "what you got in there?".

I said "stock 1.6L"


And he wound his window up


That's about as far as my compliments go.

nice story snow.. I get people who know me by my old talon.. and the first question is.. is it swapped...and is it awd yet..

from the people I dont know they ask if its a geo metro?.. when I tell them its a dodge colt. about 80% of them are like.. what is that?.. then I have to tell them that the dodge colt has been around since 1971..that they need to go look it up.. next time I see them they are all excited about what people do/can do with these great lil cars.

gotta love people who dont know anything about these cars.. then 1 week later its there fav car for a swap lol.

They do look like the older civics, i ususally describe it as a messed up civic hatch lol. And as far as compliments they usually only happen after people try to do ricer flybys and i match speeds before they pass me lol
