Tighten down as much crap as you can. If that doesn't work, use some double-sided foam tape to insulate the part and keep it from rattling.

I agree with that. I striped my entire interior and layed down roofing tar on the floor, doors, roof, trunk. Bass got sooo much better then I went to the local home depot and picked up 3/4" underlay (the stuff you put under carpeting so you cant hear whats going on in the basement or whats happening upstars) so I put all that down then put my interior back together tight. No more rattles, ALOT less road noise and bass perfection!! I had 2 pioneer 12's (pieces of shit) runnin on a 800 watt orion and ppl could hear me comming 2 km away! No bullsh*t. I went to fill up with gas one time and the owner came out to ask me to "please turn it down" cause apparently I was rattling stuff inside the store

I have a problem with the plast trim fasteners in the hatch area and the screws on the rear speaker mounts. About once a month i have to dig around and collect half a dozen or so and replace/tighten them. Lock-tite here i come!

you can buy any cheap aluminum tape at a hardware store and apply it to your car. also, you can use rubberised undercoating for cars or etc. another thing you can do is get cheaper matting from ebay and just get at least 100SQ FT

I say put foam tape on your license plate. Tighten everthing down. I also have used the expand a foam in certain places to help keep things tight. Like the braces on car trunks. Be careful when you use it though because a little goes a long way. But most important find out where you are rattling from.
