Don't forget that proper spelling makes SEARCHing much easier ;)

I may add that there are people who, in the end, ARE fond of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation. :D
IMO nothing's worse than a text impossible to comprehend due to no punctuation at all, maybe even written in 1337sp33ch. :x

The next person who uses "1337sp33ch" is getting banned!

Back to topic. Using real words. Atleast where I come from. Not sure where you guys live.

What about people that don't enter a relevant Subject? They just put "question" or something of the sort that doesn't even give a clue to what their post is about.

Personally I don't even take the time to read the thread if the author doesn't even take the time to post an appropriate topic.

rotfl, wtf imo 1337 sux, all of these are bad! can we still use csm, dsm, 4g61t, crx, kkk, naacp, auto(for automatic). all kidding aside i see his point, it makes me feel like a chat newbie every week when a new chat word comes along, it took a long explaination by sutiban to find out about what 1337 means. were not haxors of computers were hackers and modders of vehicles, were master fabricators(or we pretend to be) in our little world called 4g61t.com. although im not going back to all my posts and capitalizing everything, and my spelling sucks, i know this, also i like pyrenthisis(not how you spell it but a good example) <- too much. but hey most of the time i like to throw in a comma or a period whenever theres a pause in my thought, if other people did this the board would be a better place. i hate it when people are like "i got my new civic home and my mom said it was ok for me to put a d16a in it so i did and now its faster than any other with my stickers it adds 50hp but it could be faster with a wing and a chipped engine mapper fuel controler"

I don't think it's too much to ask to be mindful of your post quality. And if you think this is too much to ask, then I would not suggest registering on http://www.newengdsm.org. They are very strict about spelling, grammar and overall attitude. That is probably why they are regarded as one of the top dsm forums in the country. I hold this forum in much higher regard now that the moderators are taking initiative to address this problem. Good job!

I have been guilty of this in the past and I apologize. It is so much nicer to read and see proper english and not all the abbreviations and geek speak. However, I am 53 years old and sometimes I make speeling mistakes and get dyslexic in my typing skills. When that hoppens, just smack me please
