I own an 88 Excel, so that is why I am writing you on this forum-I have no idea where to post this. I heard that the body kits for Colts will work, and some other things like the 4G92 motors being a good swap. There is one guy in Australia, XLR8 on here, that has a 4G63 in his X1 Excel.

Right now I am in Iraq, here since last April. I look to be home soon, and would like any info possible on compatibilities between the Colt and my Excel. The BMW light upgrade looks nice, but I am not sure if that will work. And a front bumper would be great as well.

Thanks!

Home is in Colorado, but for right now it is in Iraq, unfortunately. I have tried Hyundai Performance Forums, but hardly anyone responds to requests for info on aftermarket parts for the X1 Excel. My car is an 88, and from what I hear, there are many things out there but you have to know where to look.

I have no specified budget, but I would like to keep it under 3 grand or so for now. Any aftermarket parts or performance upgrades would be great. Do the hoods from the Excel and the Colt match, allowing me to get this Carbon Fiber hood group buy? Thanks

Talk to you soon

I hear EVO bodykits fit the Excel too, but then again, i have also heard people complaining that there are too many Excels running around with EVO kits in Aussie. But hey, just an idea...
