Just wondering if anyone has tried putting a 63 pistons on 61 block. Please advise if this is doable. thanks

There are a few who have done it from what I've heard. The cylinder's are bored over 1.3mm I believe. The rest of the piston dimensions are identical. This alone roughly makes the motor a 1.7L. Other than the more readily available 2.0L pistons, there isn't much of an advantage in terms of HP per dollar. It's simply not worth the cost of having to bore out that much material.
