Is it just as wasy to swap a 4g63t into a 1995 mirage with the 1.8L as one with 1.5L?? I want to do this swap in my current car, but I would rather have the looks of the LS (1.8L), plus is comes with the manual tranny that I want to have in the first place...

JAY??

If memory serves... No.

Your engine is rotated 180* to what we have in our cars.

Anyone feel free to jump in and add/correct me.

Nope, Paul, you're thinking of the '97 and up Mirages.

Putting a 4G63 into an LS is almost exactly the same procedure as putting it into a 1.5 - so go for it. Plus you get luxury features like a folding rear seat and a front sway bar. :P

Also, the clutch in the 4G93-equipped LS is the same size as the 4G63 N/A clutch you'll need to use, so if you're REALLY hard-up for cash, you could stuff that one back in and use it 'til it burns - but I wouldn't reccomend it.

Oh well. Not the first time I've been wrong.
