do i need to convert my f5m22 based car to a hydrolic clutch setup to use the f5m33? or can i take parts off the f5m22 to make the transmission cable drive?

F5M22 is hydraulic. Later F5M21 were too. So you got the cable clutch in a '92 summit? :o
I think it is possible to mod a F5M22 or 33 to cable, but I think it is more favourable to swap to hydraulic entirely.
It was discussed some time ago how to convert to cable, I think in the context of swapping a 4 spd F5M21 in a car w/ a hydraulic clutch.
