My car with a half tank of gas, (full weight) (and '63) was 2300lbs.
WTF!!! my 89 GT 4g15 hatch with me and a full tank weighed in at 2470 :o
so like i said before, the sedans are lighter than the hatches...
Is that right? How? 2 extra doors + longer == lighter?

I'd rather have a sedan if thats the case. More practical and alot better looking

It's listed in the factory manuals that the sedans are lighter than the hatches.

The longer wheelbase in the sedan actually works to reduce wheelspin...just like a set of wheelie bars do. I used to run a 2.0 60' time in my Scummit/4g63t swap on 155/80 13's with a phantom grip insert. The same tranny/engine combo in a friend's colt hatch can't even come close to those short times, and we are of equal experience level with drag racing.

I have a 89 Mirage GT it weighed in at 2580 w 1/4 tank with me in it (+145) -- I will say this my freinds 4g15 w/ 4g63t swap handels like $%# even with the GT front sway bar-compared to my car---I would imagine the sedan would be the same way- plus it may also( Pure speculation) have a longer wheel base which would make it handel like $%# even more--just a few thoughts
Cohen this is because my suspension is blown. I will have it handleing alot better. OH hey I got my civic running today. I also found out some good news about my mirage. I more than likely stuck a lifter. Not spun a rod bearing. So Yippity Skippity.
