So far there is no real known and accepted setup. The AWD DSM parts can be used, but need to be shortened. We're still waiting for someone who has done it successfully to step forward and share their secrets.

Perhaps the person in question who is coming has an AWD C/S/M we can look at for reference :)

'God's car is an AWD Mirage'

Wonder if that would fit on a bumper sticker?

maybe an all-american mullet-machine like a 1980 firebird in metalflake gold and crushed red velvet. a big-@$$ screamin chichen on the hood and grossly disproportional tires on the back. yeah...the devil has a mullet, listens to 80's butt-rock, and looks down at your little "ricer" at the stoplight...untill you pull away, turbo spooling, tires clawing at the tarmac, and a chirp into third...heavenly

this dude did it (the page is down, if you emailed him I'm sure he'd give it to you he's helped me out a lot in the past )

this is the google cache, http://www.google.ca/search?q=cache:DfW ... n&ie=UTF-8
original page: http://www.vysor.com/awdlancernotes.htm

there was also a large discussion about it in the "Advanced" forum which seems to be MIA.

That makes the 4g63t swap sound like changing headlight bulbs! D*mn that would be ALOT of work... but when all is said and done, you would have one hell of a car! Just hope and pray it doesnt go after you have modified your car and its all just to take it out and turn it back into a FWD car!

If it didn't work, the next step would be the crusher. That's a lot of fabricating and to put everything back to normal would be nearly impossible.
