I have a cherry red 1990 5.0 Mustang. With that said... cops love to pull me over and I'm sick of it! I have gotten 2 speeding tickets and a unsafe start (grrr)... I'm looking to build a sleeper... After doing some research I have decided to get 89-93 mirage or colt and I NEED HELP choosing. I want a car that consist of the simplest swap. I am no mechanic and I need no complications. I also want to pick a car that has the most parts available. I want to find one of those rare 2.0L turbo mirages... but if I can't find one I want to know what is my second best option, mirage or colt.

THANX
-TurboNewbie

Its simple, either will do since they are identical. Only the name is different. The turbo mirage and colts are easier to do the swap in since the wiring harness is the same as the 2.0, but good luck finding one.

Sure, as long as you don't use that God-forsaken KM182 tranny that came in it from the factory.

It cetrtainly would be an übersleeper, though.
