Should there be a crush washer on the drain plug? I changed my fluid and a few minutes after I finished I noticed a slight leak from the bolt. There was no washer when I took it off,and I didn't give it much thought until I noticed the leak. I didn't over tighten the bolt, snugged it up. There was no leak before today. |

Usually I question things like this, and instead of filling the transmission back up,I should have checked about a washer. I don't like doing things twice, lesson learned! Thanks Coltsfan |

If no aluminum washer, grab an identically sized copper washer. We change drain pan washers every oil change with our imported Chev's aka, Daewoo's. |
