Should there be a crush washer on the drain plug? I changed my fluid and a few minutes after I finished I noticed a slight leak from the bolt. There was no washer when I took it off,and I didn't give it much thought until I noticed the leak. I didn't over tighten the bolt, snugged it up. There was no leak before today.

Usually I question things like this, and instead of filling the transmission back up,I should have checked about a washer. I don't like doing things twice, lesson learned! Thanks Coltsfan

If no aluminum washer, grab an identically sized copper washer. We change drain pan washers every oil change with our imported Chev's aka, Daewoo's.

I found an aluminum one, thanks to Pull-A-Part  I also used a dab of Permatex thread sealant,to be extra safe. Much thanks to you both :supz:
