How do I take off the horn pad on my '89 Colt GT?? the wheels off-center by a considerable amount, and I can't find any screws on the backside like on my DSM.

Are you sure the whole column isn't off center? If you just turn the wheel, your turn signals will always be un-latching at the wrong times. You might just need to adjust your tie rods.

If the car drives nice and straight and doesn't pull to one side you can also just uncouple the column from the steering rack and recoulpe them a few teeth off.

They probably never aligned it. Your toe could be way off without making it pull. Just get it aligned.

Thanks for the replies fellas! I thought it was just as easy to pull the pad off like my DSM,and align the wheel that way.
