How do I take off the horn pad on my '89 Colt GT?? the wheels off-center by a considerable amount, and I can't find any screws on the backside like on my DSM. |

Are you sure the whole column isn't off center? If you just turn the wheel, your turn signals will always be un-latching at the wrong times. You might just need to adjust your tie rods. |

I never thought about that, there was new tie rods put on before I got the car.

If the car drives nice and straight and doesn't pull to one side you can also just uncouple the column from the steering rack and recoulpe them a few teeth off. |

They probably never aligned it. Your toe could be way off without making it pull. Just get it aligned. |

Thanks for the replies fellas! I thought it was just as easy to pull the pad off like my DSM,and align the wheel that way. |
