I have a 1991 galant vr4 that I am using as a parts car for my colt E. My immediate question is I want to use as much of the suspension as possible. I want to use the brakes and hubs, along with the shocks/springs. I saw multiple write ups on the colt gt, but what is involved in using the brakes? Would I need to get FWD galant parts fo the rear? those are also readily available. |

From what I can remember, the only part that can switch over without modding is the front hub assembly and that will give you +3* of camber. |

If you want to use the rear end you'll probly need to do the awd swap. |

The front hubs/spindles are a direct bolt-on, but they will give you a lot of positive camber like mechacode said. You will have to find a way to correct for that. The front springs/struts will bolt right on, but will probably raise the car up a little bit. The rears can be made to fit with little modifications, but will lower the car approx. 2". The car will not sit evenly. As far as the rear brakes, you can use the rotors and calipers, but you may have to use some custom bracketry to get it on there, the GVR4 stuff won't bolt right on.
