Doing some searches earlier I found a couple of comments on a problem fitting a downpipe on a evoIII O2 housing, something about the angle of the oulet being different than that of the DSM housing.
So from those of you who are familiar with this combo, how much does this complicate things? What'll need to be changed? Will it still bolt up okay and clear everything?
What about the Megan O2 housing?

Also, the 1G AWD, 2G AWD and 2G FWD downpipes are all recommended here and there. The 2G AWD seems to get the most votes, but do they all work? 2G FWD is a little cheaper.

Thanks,
Jim

Yes, the evo3 o2 housing has a goofy angle, it's why I sold mine (for $75) and went with a ss 2.5" o2 for $60. The only difference between 1g and 2g megan downpipes is that the 1g goes straight and the 2g has a bend (which puts the outlet directly into the tunnel under csms).

Where'd you find the O2 housing? The Megan SS is th only one I've run onto so far.

Actually judging by the pics that you posted, there doesnt seem to be too much difference between the two downpipes. Just the angle that the pics were taken. I have a 90-94 AWD downpipe and Megan Racing tubular o2 sensor housing on my car and the downpipe ends right where the stock exhaust begins. I thought I would have fitment problems but the downpipe fits exactly like it was made for the car to begin with.

The 1g has a slight bend after the flex and right before the flange whereas the 2g has the two distinct bends after the flex closer together. Either one will work, the 2g dp just fits better in my opinion.
