I have a stock talon upper hose, the lower hose is half talon, half turbo colt. Connected in the middle with a piece of muffler pipe adapter from the hardware store. The lower hose is not the greatest looking but its under the intake pipe anyways, no one can see it. |

Cool, that makes things easier. Don't suppose you have any pics lying around? The stock Mirage hose is way too short. VR-4/Galant hose is also a bit short, and we don't get DSM's here. Might order a Gates silicone hose kit (1G DSM part# HK6RB... just noting that for my future reference )... would be a shame to have to cut the bottom hose though.. if a 4G63T water bypass pipe (the one that runs along the front of the motor) was used, could the DSM lower hose be used uncut? |

Probably as I had to use the DSM hoses when I pulled my 1.6t out and installed the VR4 JDM motor setup. |

I dont have any pictures of the hoses, but I probably could get some later today when I am out there. I also dont think that the lower hose can be uncut. In order to make mine fit without cutting it there was a spot that was too distorted and would of restricted flow. I am unsure what bypass pipe is on my engine, thinking its the 63 pipe. The pipes do come out on different angles. I still had a major issue with the upper and lower rad hoses to stretch over the fittings on the rad. |
