The problem you're having could be related to your ECU, might want to pull it out and open it up and see if the caps are leaking. Road Race Engineering is in Santa Fe Springs, and they're probably the best shop you're gonna find for anything Mitsubishi related. The owner of that shop has a pretty sweet Mirage Turbo himself, and he's pretty knowledgeable about these cars. www.roadraceengineering.com Also, please put your location in your profile. |

There's lots of great info on here, and plenty of people willing to give it out. You've come to the right place. I'm pretty jealous that you found this car man, I just saw the CL ad myself. You don't even realize how lucky you are to find such a low-mileage car. What color is it? |

Sounds like you have the lowest mileage original turbo car around, unless there is one out there that we don't know about. Even if it isn't, its still an awesome find. Oh yeah, welcome! |

89mirageman - really??? maybe lowest, but not cleanest! mechacode - MPI? i Know im going to look stupid asking this, but whats an MPI? (relay?) Incoltnito - haha cool,me and you are on the same level then lol Alright guys,Maybe i over-did it a little bit when i said "its clean" Or the interior being nice. It actually isnt,The front seats are torn a bit,the rear is whats decent!,love the truck though! has the stock privacy cover and all,And its a colt/not a Mitsu mirage/(same thing though right guys?)sorry for the confusion. The interior needs Cleaning And the engine bay needs to be De-Greased! But this how i wanted to show you guys!(because i have BIG plans for this car,Major!)Starting from Scatch! Heres the moment you guys been waiting for Took off the rear right window today guys! 56k,sorry for saying 55k milage,it was dark last night(again i was super happy that i found this car) The Fellow i got it from bought it from the original owner! The Engine(4g61t?) Needs to be Cleaned! Dirty,Not cleaned. blahh,Dont worry i'll fix it/clean it!(sorry for the Leaves on the drives seat/area. I love this car!,Love this Site! My Future Plans Are - Re-Do the Interior(Front Seats at least for now,Uncle's Friend has a Shop that deals with that) - Suspension,Lower it nicely - Roll cage,Along with bucket Seats(Not really road racing, just like the Micro look!) - Wheels,Im a big Wheel head,i like negative offset Wheels(not to to much)But just right! - Front mount Intercoolet/bov Set up(do i cut the bumper support?,remove A/c lines?Condensor?looks Like no space!!) - Re-Paint the ENTIRE car In&Out,I wanna repaint it a Fresh Black again. - CD/DVD Player with a Sub system And leave it like that, thats it. |

MPI = Multi-Port Injection. It's the relay that controls your fuel pump/injectors.Quote: My Future Plans Are
You have a FWD car, so negative-offset wheels aren't really an option. The best fitment is somewhere around +40mm offset with a 6.5 or 7" wheel. Why do you want to put in a roll cage, especially if you don't plan on racing the car? To install an intercooler you pretty much have to take out the steel bumper support and hack the living crap out of the bumper cover so that it's basically an empty shell.

thanks!. As for the Negative offset,What i meant to say was Low offset,I'd like a Good Wheel/Tire tuck Something like this ![]() I like how the Rear wheel looks on it. And why do i Want a Rollcage if im not Going to roadrace? Well you see the thing is,I guess you can call me a show guy,And im not talking about Body kits and stuff like that. I just simply like the "battle" type look, like its getting ready to do some damage(Anyhow that will be a long time from now) Thanks For letting me know about the Bumper/I can make a custom bracket to hold the Skin up only, legitly. (http://forums.club4ag.com/zerothread?id=16243) My roots ^ im actually a toyota guy my self,Dont ask why i decided to make the Colt a Daily Driver, It just seems to fit in the picture perfectly. |

Man, it's a Mirage hatchback. What "battle" are you fighting, exactly? Rollcages just tear up your interior and make the car less safe for daily-driving (unless you plan on wearing a helmet everywhere you go.) I'm sorry, but to me that's just rice if it performs no other function other than looks. Most people on this forum have very little concern for aesthetics, and mostly just want their cars go to fast.
