I would like to know what the visual differences are,if any. I'm checking to be sure I have '90 4g63t ecu,as the PO said. Only numbers on the case are 9561 on the side, and the numbers from whomever rebuilt it,as it says rebuilt but no company named.

I didn't get a pic of the front cover, put it back in the car(somewhat...pain in the a$$ still isn't all the way in!) but if needed I have any numbers that were written on it,as stated. 2-6142 and 0204IG. I goolged them and found nothing pertaining to ecus. Thanks in advance

The only way to differentiate between them is by the part #'s, they look identical. Judging by the number on the side of the case, I'd guess it's a '90 ECU. All the 1.6 ECU's I've ever seen had 8614 or 8615 on the side of the case.

Damn whoever did the rebuild took off the original label and covered it with blue one with the numbers from my original post.

What you have there is an 89 Board dictated by the "890" grouping at the bottom center of the board if you orient the harness connectors directly up.
See the pictures below of what I have in the 1.6L category, and reference the ECU swap listings we have here also.

The rest of the DSM stuff is listed here too: http://www.4g61t.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9992

What are the numbers listed on the harness connector plastic, as seen in the two side-by pics above? If you have any differences from those boards, and it can be added, then it will be an update for the system.

P.S. If anyone reading this ever had their original 1989 Turbo ECU out, let me know if it will add to the numbers in the database. It helps to get all the numbers off the case cover (if original), and to get a clear detailed picture if possible. 8)

Tim my number on the connector is the same as in your pic,4376A. Looks like it is a 1.6 turbo ecu then! Wondered why I had such a strange idle, besides my exhaust cam being off a tooth(thanks PO).

What MAF sensor are you using, and injectors, and is the motor using a 91 set of sensors or 90?

I believe the numbers on my Colt's MAF matched my Eclipse MAF,when I checked last summer. 450 injectors for sure and '90 sensors. Not too sure about the resistor pack, numbers from it are E8T05871. Or,does that need changed?

Injector resistor pack is fine, and if all the sensors including the transistor pack are the proper models, then everything should be in sync the way the OEM designed it.
You definitely know if the wrong sensors were installed and injector equipment because it would throw a code or just not run at all/very well.
Sounds like you have it sorted, so off to find a 4g61t EPROM to drop a stock 4g63t chip into, or a straight 90 turbo ECU w/or w/out EPROM.

Transistor pack is correct also. I believe it is sorted out,I bought the ecu CaptainTonus was selling (4g61t EPROM and stock 4g63t chip he had burnt) and am waiting for it to arrive! Can't wait to fire her up with the right ecu! Thanks Tim and Tonus!

Glad some of what I had to say helped. Honestly sometimes I think I am taking a stab in the dark at some things, but as time goes on, my diagnosis isn't too far off in most areas.
Enjoy the car that much more now?

Oh I will when I can drive it. I'm getting an estimate Monday-ish on some damages from a tree limb that shattered my windshield and dented the roof. So,unfortunately it's not drivable :( But,I'm enjoying driving forwards and reverse in my driveway, for now haha!

As far as your help goes,I've read some of your past posts and you usually are spot-on with your diagnosis. Your help is very much appreciated :prayer:
