This happened quite awhile ago so if something doesn't seem right, I probably won't remember it.
Quote:
First kill with the summit, some jerkoff in one of those import min-vans or something, it was a tiny van, he came up on me and my little brother on a 2 lane with someone next to us. Flying up at us then swerves to get into the lane next to us behind the car next to us, the light turns green and the guy in the car next to us takes off as fast as he can, I drop the clutch at around 2k (no factory tach even tho it's manual) and take off also, overtaking the guy next to us, and he was staying in it, along with the guy in the van, hittin the rev limiter (fuel cutoff?) before shifting through 1st to 2nd and we're all pushing 60 (I'm in 3rd gear), soon we're hitting 70, then 80 in
4th gear and both the car and the van are slowly fading back, I hit 85 and stay there for awhile then catch 5th gear and ride the rest of the way in it. So it's pretty clear who "won". About 5-6 miles later, the car turns off and the van decides to play catch up, I check the rear-view mirror and the guy is catching up to me and I'm going around 70mph so he comes flying up, (he must have been going around 85 to catch up that quick) when he gets around 500 ft behind me, I nail it and waste him again all the way back to town. I turn off and he follows suit through the backroads into town (road detour -construction). He keeps behind at around 500 ft at all times until we're in town. I turn onto the road to get home on and he goes straight.
