Post subject:  Louie V.S. nice Black STI
Lunch time, we've got 3 of us crammed in Louie going to get lunch. As we get into the turning lane to go down a different road, we notice a sweet black STI right behind us. Ahead of me is this silver honda somethingorother.

We make the turn and all stay in a line. After some railroad tracks he breaks into the right lane to pass both me and the honda. I quickly signal and jump over too and floor it.

So I'm here with 3 people in the car going balls out with an STI with just the driver. I stay right and he cuts left so we each have our own lane (still two lanes right here)

We were pretty much neck and neck there, he was one car length back the whole time and stayed there until I cut it off just past where it goes to one lane.

I'm very impressed that I stuck with him. I really hope he was pushing it as hard as it could go. At the light, he was ahead of me for the left hand turn and he gave me a wave so I did the thumbs up.

Not a kill, not killed, just lots of fun.

man... you dont have a downpipe??? you'd get like 30 hp from one no joke! my car was SOOO much faster when i got a full turboback going from just a cat back.

I have the stock DSM one right now (2") going to a 2-2.5" converter then <-> high flow cat <-> 1 2.5" in, 2 2.5" out muffler

The new downpipe on the way makes the whole system 2.5" tip to tail.

u cept up with a STI with 3 ppl in da car shit ur STI must be shit :D australian STIs kill HSV. HSV is a holden commodore 300kw so thats like 400hp V8 5.7 litre fully crazy i love that car but i wouldent buy it a stick with my jap imports. but any way dam ur car is crazy if u dident have 3 pll in da car u would have won. o ye 1 queston do u guys in US use kilowatts for engin power. because we use both horsepower and kilowatts.
but fruit and banana i want a 4G63

We use HP here. I estimate I have around 200hp (stock gvr4 ~190, better exhaust just makes up the rest. engine is stock otherwise)

Lots of power, fine... how much does the car weigh? :) THAT is how I can spank the arse of some of these cars. Plus the AWD is great for launches, but after that it hurts ya (save for the people who make insane power and still need the AWD while going fast)

The STI was probably in the wrong gear or something, but it dosen't matter. I had fun :)
