Raced a CRX with a turbocharged b16 with no hood. I heard the blow off valve and I wanted to race him with my daily driver, 89 Isuzu Impulse Turbo. We raced from 30 up and by 65 he was 3 cars behind me. HONDAS ARE SLOW. I talked to him after the race and he was shocked what happened. I love beating a modified honda with a totally stock (besides exhaust) Isuzu. Thats got to hurt!! Any way the car is for sale if anyone is interested. It is RWD and fun to drive.

Can you post more info and perhaps pics? I've got a friend who may be quite interested, not to mention we're somewhat local.

The car is white/blue interior and only has 86K miles. It has 5spd,cruise, a/c, ps, sunroof,cd player, lsd, cool old school stock recaro seats, and mandrel bent 2.5 inch exhaust. Has new snow tires on it. The inside and out is perfect and mech. sound. I am set a 2000.00 which is a steal to find one in this shape plus its a TURBO!!!!! If you want pictures leave your e mail address and I will attach pictures and any questions. Thanks

I'd Love one of the AWD Impulses...they only made them in 91 or something. Nice styling and fun to drive, but those rear wheel wells rusted like true Chev

Heh, I've seen that CRX i think, its still just a D motor with a small mitsubishi based turbo ( i think its a 13G) He wasn't sure which turbo it was. I pulled on him when I was bone stock, its not tuned at all and was just thrown together. Was it pale red with a younger hispanic man driving it?

Is it just me, or did the Isuzu just look meaner than the Geo Storm?

I just did a google image search, and this page has pictures of both cars...

http://www.robietherobot.com/storm/default.htm

and it looks like the Isuzu model is a little longer and maybe not quite as tall...

Just a though. Also, it looks like the Geo version was never equipped stock with a turbo... too bad, that might have turned around the Geo brand name for Chevy...

Paul, Did you get the pic's? Yeah me too I like the older generation better they look like a delorian. The same guy that designed the delorian and the scirroco that did the impulse. Plus in 88 -89 more engineering from lotus went into these models making them handle a lot better than the earlier flip up headlight model.

Yeah I got the pix.

I like the headlight flip up but you can't complain with better handling.

I wish I could get it... but I can't afford crap right now

I still can't believe your selling that bad ass car. Would make a nice drift car for this season. Oh well, you guys should jump on this, its by far the best condition Impulse I've seen, hands down. If I had the money and my wife wouldn't kill me, i'd definately buy it.
