Well here's the scoupe, I really don't like ford, especially mustangs. But my dad has 2001 lightning, so I convinced him to let me modify it. It has 6lb lower blower pulley which bring its to 14 lbs boost, diablo computer chip, ram/cold air intake, traction bars, and a huge set of nittos, 305 something 18 can't remember. So last night we were driving the lightning and raced 3 heavily modded fox bodies, and 4.6. One guy blew a tranny and another blew his motor. With 3 people in truck we raced a 4.6 with 100 shot from a stop we put about 3 cars on him out the hole and it stayed around there maybe 1 more car. Also raced a lx hatchback that had a cage w/ 306 carb., he said he didn't have spray, but the 10 an fuel line, huge sump pump, and large puff of smoke half way thru first gear told me otherwise. from 5 mph to 100, it took him to 75 to pass me, he got me by about 1 1/2. Lx coupe, slicks, cage, 408 ci carb., no spray. from a stop to 100, he got us buy about 2 cars. last race 96-98 4.6 body style w/ 460 ci carb., from a stop to 100 he got us by a car. I know its 3 losses and only 1 win, but its a truck, look at the cars I'm racing for god's sake. Don't worry I told them to come out next weekend, When I have my mirage and video camera out. Just to inform you the mirage will put 5 or 6 cars on the lightning for sure. Well talk to you later. anthony |
