On my way to work i caught a red light on a two lane road. This road merges to one lane a little short of the 1/4 mark after the light. During morning rush, you'd be surprised just how many people will get in the right lane and try to pass. Anyway, i caught the red and was slowing down for it. Dropped to second and was coasting at around 20mph. I always check my rearview at this light , and saw a blazer slide over to the right lane. he had at least ten mph on me already. Still in second i floor it and hear his motor rev beside me. by third gear i had a car length on him! By the time the road merged he was about three lengths behind.
I thought they were quicker than that?
