Hm. New driver in the M5?

Admittedly, I don't know your car, but personal experience says the M5 is stupid fast.

The driver of the car has been solo racing for many years, the car is very fast in a straight line and was about 15-20 km faster than me on the straight, but I was pulling on him every lap.

Yeah congrats man!

The M5's probably weigh twice as much as our cars do. They might can outrun us in a straight line, but no way will it keep up in the corners.

The M5 weighs 4000 lbs, it has tons of power and lots of brakes.
