It's been a long time since I've posted any kills, not because there haven't been any but these were in the same night and the colt has been running so awesome I just feel like sharing. I also have 80 gallons of oxygenated, leaded, 113 in the garage so I've been out playing more than usual.
EEPROM'd autos in these things are amazing. Period.
I was in Mexico visiting some relatives (a year ago yesterday) when I randomly came across a Gallardo. It wasn't a new one, maybe an 08' ish. Old dude with his wife. I'm pretty aggressive when I go fishing - need to be when you drive something that is as invisible and almost laughable as a colt to the uneducated
Once he realized I was serious he nailed it, I followed. The auto took care of the rest...the colt walked him pretty hard. We hit a red light, he was laughing and gave a thumbs up.
F430, same day. This never happens.... The F430 was faster than the Gallardo. I was minding my own business, driving especially slow, sort of fishing for fast-driving victims. I notice a bright yellow F430 vert rolling up fast from behind (go at least 30 mph faster than I was). When he is about two cars back I drop the hammer and match his speed. His attention? Caught.
A lane opens up and he guns it, I follow and reel him in. Letting off before rear-ending him.
I follow him until we have some nice open road with no cars or cross streets. We re-engage. It started after a left turn from a light so my silly 2.3 60ft was not an issue (already doing about 20mph before the F430 punched it). The colt over took the 430 with ease (ish) and he let off once he knew it was game over.
We'll see how long the stock junk yard auto and converter lasts. I hope forever. If nothing else, long enough to smoke Tonibus
