Wow what a night! I get off work at 5 and run home jump in the shower and decide to run to my parents house. When I get there I realize I have 3 gallons of 110 just sitting in the garage so the thought came in my head to put it in the colt. I left and go for a cruise, I see a regular Challenger r/t cruising around so I follow him and he turned off the road so no race there, by this time im bummed out and stop, turn the boost up, lean out the old vpc and take her for a run. I drive by maverick and see a SRT8 Challenger pulling out. He ends up getting on the freeway in the direction I am going so the adrenaline starts pumping! The boost is set at about 22psi and will hit about 25 in 4th and 5th. I am on his tail and we start passing a semi and he pins it. I hit 4th since we were at about 90 already (original turbo trans). She spins a little bit, and he gets in the other lane, I start to pass at about 115 and by 120 I was at his door and pulling we get to 140 I had 2 cars on him. We catch some cars so we both let off and take it to about 85 and cruise. He passes me and him and his wife give me a thumbs up. Probably the best Monday I have had in years! Mods 14b, Starion fmic, 255, 550's, vpc, safc, ebc, 3inch, act2600, phantom grip lsd. |
