Thought I'd share some dreams I had this weekend...
I was in the Colt doing some logging on the freeway and came across a guy in his 20's driving a new 911 convertible (there was also a new M5 but he exited and I thought the 911 was a turbo so I went for it instead). He didn't seem too interested at first but after some egging-on I got him to bite. Needless to say, it was over in a matter of seconds.
Later that day, I noticed another 911 in my rear-view. This one turned out to be a GT3... I tried to get him to play and he wouldn't
About a mile down the road I see him closing in fast. I drop it into 3rd and punch it as he is flying up on me. By the top of third he was about 2 cars ahead and I was just starting to pull him back in. In 4th I started to pull back and got to his rear bumper when we came up on a chicane in the freeway on-ramp so we slowed down. It was pretty clear I would have walked him if we could have stayed into it. I pulled up next to him after and he looked over with a huge grin and gave me a thumbs up, I returned the gesture.
I've never beat on the Colt so much in such strangely hot weather; knocks were up and it was running a little leaner than I like -pulling lots of timing. I've never seen temps over 192 either, after that last run it got to 223* and quickly returned to 190 after I pulled off the freeway. Another note, I just put in BPR9EIX plugs -it's never pulled soo smoothly to redline.

Since I put a cutout and new shoes on the colt I can?t stop driving it. It looks and sounds legal; drives amazing! New area for me (legal part).
M3: I was on my way home from work and spotted this M3 behind me advancing quickly through traffic (this ALWAYS spells out a bait-biter). I mashed it a little when he tried to pass; didn?t seem to like it too much. Traffic opens up and we both punch it. I add about a block between us. Ouchy. Red light comes up, my favorite. He pulled right up next to me?(both windows rolled up) 'THAT CAR IS ****ING FAST.' Light turns green; he stays about a block back and doesn?t try anything?.ends up flipping a bitch.
M5: My dad is 60+ and thinks the colt is the best thing that ever happened to a sleeper. We 'cruise' ALL the time. Lots of opportunities and the guy never bit.
300ZX: Tonus saw this from his new turbo mirage. A friend of ours with an EVO 9 ended up behind a modified 300ZX turbo (Tonus and I were following). They both went for it; I couldn?t really see what happened?they just both took off. We all approach a red light, Dave in the Evo stays behind the 300ZX and motions me forward at the light.
This essentially means dinner unless it?s tubbed. I open the cutout and rev accordingly. I never really go for it unless I know the other guy is at it. I put more than a car on the 300ZX and give a thumbs up. He looked dazed?.never responded.
Aston: Didn?t even know what it was till I googled it? I always keep an eye out for a treat; last night delivered. An Aston Martin just made the light behind me exiting the freeway; we both got caught at the next light. I opened my exhaust (opps). He noticed the growl and engaged. The little colt added a car on easy. After the engagement the AM would not even come within 20ft of the colt. Aw?..
