I was hanging out at the local weekend car hang out spot with some friends and a good buddy of mine rolls up is his mint red Audi S4. Yes, the AWD twin turbo Audi S4. It is a beautiful car, and it is fast none the less. He was bragging about his new Apexi exhaust system, blow off valves and chipped ECU he recently installed. I was impressed, it was a very nice setup. He had heard about my car and challenged me to a race. Of course I accepted. :D We went to a local highway and went from 40mph. For some reason I started in 3rd gear. On a side note, I normally shift my car at 6000rpms. We hit it, and he pulled hard on me and was 3 cars in front of me, by the time I hit 5th gear. He boldly put his blinkers on, stating he was victorious. Or so he thought was... 8) We went a second time from 40mph, this time I started in second gear. Also I decided to change things up a bit. Instead of 6000rpms, I decided to shift at 7000rpms, just to see what would happen. We hit it, and he immediately got a half car on me... only for a second though. I began to pull up on him and passed him with authority. When I let off midway through 5th, his front bumper was a foot behind my back bumper. HAHA!!! Well, now 1-1, we went a third time. From 40mph, only this time I got a good jump with him and ended midway through 5th gear, me a good car and a half in front. We pulled over and he was speechless and knew he had been defeated by the Mirage Turbo. Guess he wouldn't have been so bummed out if he hadn't counted his chickens before they hatched! :D

You've been doing all this killin on a 1.6 14b setup.

That makes me  inside.

I'm running my 14b at about 18psi. Now it's cold up here so third gear spins when boost hits.

Great kills.

Haha thanks guys... but yeah it's a stock 4G61T with a 14B turbo pushing 16 pounds. Open 3" downpipe, Walbro 255, and a few other minor mods. It's quick, but I have a long way to go. :D

Oh really? Yeah, we were hanging out at Barrett Parkway. We made the run on I-575 though. You can slow down to 40mph a little easier than I-75. :D
