Chirping the tires into third......
God if I could just get traction in third I would be happy.......

BFG's stick to the road so well the rubber just stays there and leaves the tire...

Downshifted from 30mph into 1st?

What's next, you going to race a Ford Tempo? This is just dumb.

well fortunately i'm not looking for any great numbers or anything fast right now, not even anything quick. I like to keep my 38-40mpg (I went and checked out the fuel economy about halfway through the tank and i've got 234miles from fill up and it's at half way :-) ) my other colt is in the process of the swap so you don't have to tell me about ur car because frankly i don't care, if you don't have anything somewhat intelligent to post then don't post it.

i'm sorry on this car i don't plan on abandoning the 4g15. i'm tryin to see what I can get going 1 mod at a time, next will be 2" exhaust then a stage 1 camshaft from rpw w. a high pressure oil pump so I dont kill my rod bearings and maybe eventually turbo the 1.5 but i will have to find another daily driver as a back up (maybe a mitsubishi mighty max)

but this is meanwhile while I swap my other colt for my girlfriend to have as a daily driver. Which as soon as my check clears today i have to send some money to fastassmirage for his 61t and i've got a 91 63t intake mani and components, as well as exhaust turbo, and injectors. tryin to decide between 14b or 16g right now on that car

The most agonizing threads to read are the ones about people with 16sec cars beating 17sec cars and being proud of their accomplishment.

Because putting a Turbo DSM IM on a 61T is a good idea :-? . And all that money into the 1.5 can be used for the 1.6 and yield way better results. Also, I think that gsx's post is about as relivant as your thread.

Where at in MN? I've never heard of it. Let me just ask 3 questions. What fuel management, what sized injectors, and what kinda tires? I'd be up for a race, as long as he's not far, and there is proof he's quick and I'm not wasting my gas.

And I think a tempo is a good comparison to the Neon you raced.
