Since Davis (Hemicolt) is out of town I am driving his car around having a little fun. I found a guy with an STI that wanted to race me in his 2G GS-t...FWD vs FWD. On the way to his house I showed him a little of what I had and easily put a couple cars on his STI. He pulls a fully shaved and primered 2G out, it idles lumpy and sounds good. He admits its fully built and did 409 whp 370 ish ft/lbs not to mention its COMPLETELY gutted. We did a slow roll launch in first gear and ran doors through 5th. Then a couple 2nd gear starts. He was a little faster through the middle of the gears pulling only a few feet ahead but at the top of each gear I pulled back next to him. Then while doing another slow 1st gear launch an unsuspecting WS-6 went roaring by in the third lane. His jump didn't last long as we passed him easily in 3rd. The guy was cool and we sat at his house and chatted for a while after racing. As a whole I was really pleased with the Colts performance, exspecially when I put about 2 car lengths on a CBR 600 on the highway on the way home. He gave me a thumbs up as he cruised on by.

Sounds like a stand up guy. Todays scene is starting to lack them.

But any way, nice kill story. I dont think i would let anyone drive my car. Or did he not know you did it. 8)

Soon Chris, soon. I have to drop it off to another shop next week, he is getting a whole new exhaust (rear exit). Then its on to you.

Davis is a great friend, he was in my wedding also. Besides, I probably take better care of his car than he does and I baby it most of the time.
He encourages me to race it believe it or not...crazy cowboy.
