Well, since my car has been down I've kinda had little to no fun lately. Then a guy traded in his '03 Audi S4 for an '05 Xterra...not sure he will like that decision. It's sweet looking, all black and tinted out. He had modified the exhaust and thats all I could tell from an initial inspection.

I decided to take the car to lunch and was really impressed with the power this thing has, definately faster than the last one I drove...must have been chipped as well. I was just enjoying the ride and nice stereo when a riced out 3rd gen Integra rolls up next to me. I had no intention to race till he blew off at me...sure, what the hell do I have to lose. It was a 5sp auto so I nocked the shifter over to the triptronic and brought the stall speed up to 2300 rpms. The Integra sounds like its bouncing off the limiter as the light turns green. Wham! I put 3 car lengths on him before he crossed the intersection and the close ratio 5spd auto snapped into second before I could react (cars smarter than me).

I took it to just over 100 before shutting it down, just so the integra couldn't claim I shut down early...but he was bus lengths back. At the next light the guy in the integra said it was fast but he was having ignition problems...ok. Still, even though it wasn't my car, it was nice to kill a Honda.

I'm building the motor...decided to go 4g63t. I'll give more details when its done...hopefully in the next month.

The '03 S4's had the 4.2 V8 in them.

I don't sell Nissan's...I work in the shop. The inspection sheet shows what the owner traded it in for.

I love it, they don't complain when I'm building my own stuff in my free time. I have 2 blocks and cranks not to mention ton's of parts just lying around and they don't mind as long as its all organized. My car has sat dead in the parking lot for more months than it has ran...damn Mitsu's.
Killer job but it has it down sides too....mainly getting motivation to work on my own stuff after working on cust cars all day.

I hear that, we have guys do that all the time in my dealership too. I'm on the other end in sales though, I hate working on shit unless its out of need or pleasure.
