My first night ever in my Mirage at the local cruise spot. I was a little paranoid because of the recent little issues i have had, but all went good. Yay!!
Well i park up at Taco bell and no one looks at my car at all, which i like becuase at least i know it wont get stolen. I met up with a couple friends i know from the scene, shoot the shit and what not.
Then i decide to do some cruising.... I got caught at a red light, and i just notice a car pull up next to me, i decide not to look, just because i dont want to instigate anything. But then i head them talking and i got the "ricer rev", so i just look at my friend and nodded at each other. The light turns green, the other car rips off the line like it is at the drag track. As it pulled ahead of me i notice it was a late 90's Hyundai Accent, steelies, horrible body rot, green neons under the car that you can visuable see the tube, and at least 3 people. I get to about 2500-3000 and i just stomp it, my turbo spools, shit goes all crazy (like in F&F when they hit the NOS, shit starts bluring), I bring it to about 5500, and i bang second, afterwards realizing that it was allready over just before i shifted. I caught up 3 cars and then put 4 on him by the time i was in the middle of second. So i pull into the gas station and tank it up. Ricers 0, Me 1.
Did a little more crusing but no one wanted to play so i park it up at another fast food joint. All of a sudden everyone wants to be there, so we have all kinds of Mustangs, VDubs and a collection of shitty cars. No one wanted to talk to me execpt a DSM guy that told me i wanted to sell my car to him...... no?
All in all it was an eventful night. I just need to get my oil leeks fixed, a new BOV spring, and a new front mount. Then i should be ready to really do some damage.
