Sorry kids ive been gone for a long time, work, and getting my car ready for the dsm shootout in Aug, but IM BACK! Anyhow, I just recently got my car up to par with my new turbo, street tuned hella rich at 19 psi. So its the 4th of july and im at a party with the local DSM crew. One of my friends says "hey take me for a little rip since your semi tuned now. Ok no prob" We go to the nearest highway and as im getting on the highway, i look in my rear view to make sure its clear to mirge, when what the hell do i see in my hind sight.....a 2004 Lamborghini Murcielago......... I practically shat myself! As soon as he's next to me i nail the gas in third, spin a bit in 4th and blow past him at 100 just to let him know i meant business. He drops a gear and rips it, i let him go by and i get behind him in his draft and start pulling a bit. No race yet.....So we cruise for another min or so until we hit a nice mile straight with NO CARS AROUND US. He moves over a lane and i get right next to him at like 75...My friend yells over at him, "HEY GIVE US A RUN!" Before we could blink he drops a gear and hammers it. Im thinking well crap he took the jump, ill try my best, being that the 60-1 isnt the most spool friendly turbo. I drop to 4th, hammer it and stay glued to his freaking door until 130mph when he let off! The only distance he pulled me was his little jump when i wasnt ready. I was gitty and had a smile on my face for the remainder of the day! Thanks for reading!

Definitely not a kill, but great job on keeping up with him. What was stopping you from fully tuning your car? It shouldn't actually take that long to tune the car. Wish you would have finished because then you would have busted his ass. That would have been one of the greatest colt kills ever. You should be able top tune the 60-1 to spool up before 4k rpm, but I really don't know what turbine housing/wheel combination you are running.

Awesome kill.

I bet he went home and did a price comparison to why his 6 digit car didn't blow the doors of a 3 or 4 digit econobox. He'll think twice about what to dump his money into in the future.

Awesome kill.
Can you please explain to me how it was a kill, because I think my definition of a kill differs from a few people on here.

For which car? And don't say the colt. Maybe you can actually explain who killed who here.

Maybe you can think outside the box for one? Relax, and try to remember that your opinion isn't exactly the definition of everybody elses.

He killed the guys confidence in his car.
He killed his buddies respect for him.
He killed his girlfriends like for his car.
He killed his pride.
He killed his "my car is the shiz-nit yo!" attitude.
He killed his thought that nothing can keep up with his car, let alone a 15 year old economy shoe box.
He killed his inflated ego.

Use your imagination on this one.

Not exactly a kill, but a very good show of brute power!

Git her tuned and next time, already have her in boost before you talk sh*t to a 100k supercar! :P

Great story! Can't wait to hear about her when she's tuned!

If you read my second post you would read where I stated that my definition must differ from other people and that's why I wanted an explanation as to why you considered it a kill. I know my opinion isn't always someone's definition of certain aspects but in this case my opinion is right.

How bout you refrain from using your imagination on this one. Its a kill forum for one reason, because you beat another car in a race or the other car beat you. It has nothing to do with killing respect or pride or attitude or any other shite like that. I'm very impressed he KEPT up like I posted earlier and next time when he spends the extra 10min to fully tune the car maybe he'll pull on that Lamborghini. Who the hell cares about someone killing pride or attitude of another driver anyways. I want to read about a Porsche or M3 that got the doors blown off of it, not some gay pride factor by the other driver.

Amen to that, in my collective memory I have NEVER heard of something like this happening, EVER. So why doesn't everyone who has a problem with this take a chill pill and relax. Try not to be jealous ok? :butthead:
