As I always do when we add a new vehicle to our stable, the first few months are spent pushing it to it's limits, including "onroad comparisons of acceleration" - In this case, a Bugeye WRX(JDM Turbo model) was first on the list, he passed us coming up to a set of lights with a merge on them, so we lined him up, and he found out that his shiny muffler and ssqv bov didn't help him at all :-)

Thanks to the wide gearing, we were in the top of 2nd still when he was halfway through third, so all he could do really was watch as we drove away from him :-)

Second one was a AW11 Toyota MR2, which wasn't really fair, we just beat him but good for the fun of it...

Minivan kill stories make me laugh, maybe even harder than CSM kill stories cause the kid waving the rattle at you while he speeds by with his pops at the wheel has just OWNED you! :finga: 8)

Add a 1986 Reliant Scimitar to the list, ok, we beat him so good it wasn't even close, but his car looked kinda cool :-)

We used to have one of those and I really wanted to drop a 4g63t in there, but alas, mommy sold it to get a 95 mirage :(

I am not letting go of my Expo/Summit! It will have a 4g63t by this time next year. The wife has no say in the matter...

If you lived in New Zealand, I would have invited you out with me today, I'm going to be doing a thrash to drop a new 6a12tt into a car today for the racing tomorrow...

Don't forget you'd have to get used to our seasons being proportionally different to yours as well, our christmas doesn't have a snowflake in sight, nothing but beaches, BBQ's and sunburn :-)

On a side note - add a early Honda Integra to the RVR's kill list, poor boy racer looked so put out when he got roasted three times in a row...

Yeah, it's one of those things that never gets boring, she gets her first mod in a week or two, gonna wire up the trailer electrics before I get a ticket for no stop lights...
