 sorry guys it was a 4th gen. they told me it was a 94. guess the used car dealer lied to them(go figure). as soon as i checked back i and saw the pic i knew my boo boo. on a more positive note i finished hacking the aircan earlier(da*n near broke my hacksaw, need a dremel and cut off wheel to clean that up) and i should have a working fix for a cheap hard pipe. if it all works out ill post it in tech. it would be pretty sweet to have a $100 short ram or a $130 cool air intake 8) . seiriously though sorry guys i really am not the type to brag about made up stuff and this is highly embarrasing. one question though, are 1st gen neons really that slow? i dont know if this guy even tried but it was a red light and i pulled him a length at a half block on green not even checking the opposite light for a good start. added plus to the aircan hack job is less smoke and the look on peoples faces when i nail it and everyone for 200 ft can hear the sounds of my engine. :finga:

Actually, the Endeavor is the newer model.

The RVR's variant is the Expo LRV ;)

A shame they didn't come with the 4g63t like our JDM ones do :-) Good candidates for a transplant though I suppose...

notbrokenyet - Do you know what type of fourth gen that celica was? The ST's are slow as poop. The others are slightly faster, but not much. And I'm pretty darn sure you didn't race an All-Trac turbo. ;)

As for the neons, I've had a few runs with some, and the stocker models sucked bigtime, but the R/T's(maybe? Not to up-to-date on my neon info) gave me a good run for my money. And my car's 5spd also. Not bragging, it's just from what I hear, the 3spd auto's are damn slow. No offense.

the celica was an st unfortunately but keep in mind im auto for now and i havent gone balls to the wall in this thing since some psycho in an suv tried to paint me all over the road and i kept away from his sorry @ss until he changed lanes and i hit the brakes. but a problem has surfaced and the little twelve valve is probably going bye bye  i can tell by the kind of damage the car had when i got it that it was raced quite a bit and the previous owner was a college kid who did not believe in oil changes. i checked my oil at 1000 miles like always and the stick was dry. :o i quickly added 2 quarts and some stop leak with smoke away and then checked again when the engine temped at normal and i came away with a lot of metal shavings in my hand. ive made engines last a while with more damage than this but i think its swap time come fall.

PARDON?(check sig)

Once one gets used to the turn signal being on the right and the gear shift on the left, it's not that hard to drive a right-hand car. I've done it, it's kind of cool.
