On the highway other day when I looked in my rear view mirror and saw a car weaving in and out of traffic, perhaps to catch up to me. He gets right behind me as I am doing 60mph, so I gear down to fourth and step on it. I went up to about 120mph and there was no way this car could keep up to me. He was way behind, I slowed right down to 50 mph and he eventually passed me but too ashamed to look over to se me waving to him. A couple of weeks later we meet up again and were talking. Turns out that the car has CAI, and stage 2. According to the owner it was dynoed at 270whp, he now has respect for the Colt. Imagine how much more respect he would have if I had the 2L in it. That should be done in two weeks time.

Now I really wish I had your motor nestled in between my frame rails! Instead, I have the top end off and scratching my head waiting on parts.

He was behind you and he couldn't keep up when you mashed the gas? Sounds like a great kill. :-?

The SRT's are a good base to start working with, my friend at work has one which I have driven. They are strong down low but run out in the top end. Nothing that cannot be fixed.

SRTs are decent to start with I guess. Move on to supercharged lightenings. They think they're are hot shit but I've killed at least six in the past month and half. If you could race them from a stop it would be best since they don't hook for shit, even with huge nittos.

my buddys srt-4 dynoed 278whp 330torque with basic mods

they run out of torque becuase of that td04 turbine side stock

your 4g61t would definetly have to be modified to keep up

I beg to differ, If you lived close to me, you would get lefted at the stop light.
Granted I don't know what you have done to your car, so you may pass me on the top end, but my truck still traps 108-110. Maybe those people can't launch, cause I have 2 friends with 01+ w/ nittos and bolt-ons, they both still launch very well on the street. Just my 2 cents.

All the lightenings I've raced or have seen race launch terrible on the street, even with DR. Maybe they don't know how to launch well but I've seen so many lightenings race that I would have figured at least one can launch right. My colt on the street comes out the hole pretty damn well I might add so maybe that has something to do with it.

Too much SRT b0o5t to handle!

I heard SRT bo05t is better than AWD.
