Running around town tonight to see what I can run into when I spot a 2002 Supercharged Ligthening trying to catch up to a honda. He gets caught at a light so I make a U-turn to see if he'll run me instead. We're at the light and I stroll off smooth and run first gear up a little. He's still with me so I decide to run second gear up some too to see if he'll take the bait. As soon as I'm about to shift into third I hear his nasty blower whine coming on hard. He's about a fender in front when I start to spool third gear and I proceed to spin by him like he's sittin still. At the top of third I had 3 cars on him so I shut it down due to the huge ass whipping and traffic ahead. He pulls up to me with his window down and just smiles and nods his head in amazement.

Nice kill, there is a guy running low 12's up here in a Lightning. I really want to race the new Ram RT/10. There is one on the same street that Hemi-colt lives on.

Thanks for the nice comments fellas. They are nice trucks with a lot of power but I thought it would be a lot closer than it was. Or Maybe their topend is not as good as I thought it was.

Good Kill !! What turbo you running?
I had a run-in with a local '02 that frequents the track and runs 12's with slicks. Anyways, we rolled from my third gear and I jumped half a length, but when the blower spooled he had me by 2 lengths at top of 3rd. He must of been running open headers or an auto cutoff, 'cause the noise in my open window was deafening! (btw, me='61t+14b)

I'm running a ported and clipped 18g at the moment. It wasn't a very good turbo below 15psi but now I'm running around 21psi and it flows a lot better than I had imagined. Close to what my friends 50 trim was flowing at 20psi. I'm really contemplating the SCM61 with t350 stage V turbine wheel. Should let me trap 130ish with a few more supporting mods.
