Here is a quick guideline for performing the 4G63T Engine swap into a '89-'92 Chassis. '89 Mirage/Colt Turbo 1.6L You will need the following parts: -engine -flywheel/clutch If you get a engine from a 1990 car, then it will bolt right in. If you get it from the later years, you will have to mix and match some of the sensors and accessories to get it to work. '90-92 Mirage/Colt/Summit Non-Turbo 1.6L You will need the following parts: -engine -flywheel/clutch -ecu -wiring harness (or add your own wires) What else goes here? I'm not sure as this swap isn't mentioned often. '89-92 Mirage/Colt/Summit Non-Turbo 1.5L You will need the following parts: -complete engine (injectors, turbo, manifolds, tb...) -flywheel/clutch (from the same year engine that you are going to use) -ecu -DSM wiring harness -DSM tranny(or mirage turbo tranny) -Mirage Turbo timing belt mount -Mirage Turbo rear metal mount -Complete Mirage Turbo transmission mount -MPI relay -DSM starter -Injector resistor pack from DSM -upgraded fuel pump If I'm missing anything from here, please post it. *EDIT* Flying Eagle - Lil Evo Swap Site and 4wd conversion information - the original 400 Hp 4wd swap |
