Went out to start the car, nothing, the battery is completely dead. I figure that I must have left the blower on again with the turbo timer, nope, it was off. Well, that's a bit strange.

Anyhow, I hook up the jumper pack and start her up. I unhook the jumper pack and the car goes off instantly, ok, so the batt. didn't have enough time to charge. I do it over, this time I drive around for a few minutes with the jumper pack still attatched. Then I unhook it and get back in, click on the headlights and the car shuts off.

Since the battery is less than a year old, should I be looking at the alternator?

I had a problem of some kind with the fuse panel under the hood. One day I backed my car out of my driveway and it died all of the sudden. No lights, horn, seat belts, starter. Nothing. Fiddled around with the fuse panel and everything started working again. Haven't had a problem since. That was about four months ago and still going strong. Even after leaving on the heater blower motor on low for four hours one day. Oops. Car still started though.

I love problems that almost fix themselves. Kinda like my turn signals that didn't work quite right when I bought the car. You'd have to hold the lever in just the right spot so they would continue to flash. Now they work like new. Cool eh?

Yeah my alternator went one day when I was about 10km from home - I just asked my gf to follow me and every 2km or so, I would stop and get her tp recharge my dry cell battery :)

gotta love them (the dry cell batteries and gf's)- got home and put in a new one and all was good!
