FYI,

Just wanted to see if anyone knows if the gauge cluter in the regular GT (non turbo) is usuable on a GT turbo between 89 to 92 model years?

I know the speedo goes only till 200km/hr and the redline is only 6000rpm in the regular non turbo Gt.

The speedo is upto 240km/hr and redline of 7000 rpm for the GT Turbo.

But does the speed and rpm still work if you switch between them?

Thanks,

Dave

I'm sure you can, but hopefully your trying to use the turbo cluster in the NT.

I've interchanged the 1.5l cluster and the 1.6l turbo gt cluster, no problems at all, never had to do anything and all guages worked perfect. it was done in a 92 colt, when I went from the 1.5l and swaped in the 1.6l turbo.

Thanks for all of the info,

Just to clear up some of the confusion, I will run the turbo Gt with the non turbo GT guage cluster. I will double check the speedo with a friend by running the car on the hwy at 100km/hr to see if mine reads any different.

Regards,

Dave
