I've looked but I can't seem to find it....if someone could tell me which archive to visit to find the answer that would be great.

We like our cars very much but.....

I think everyone would pretty much agree that the distance of "throw" and length of our shifter is just crazy. I mean it's harder for me to drive when i have something in my cup holder because of all the room i need just to shift. I was wondering if tere are any short shifter kits out for our cars, and if not then is the shift fork and shift boot from an eclipse , compatible with the M/C's. If not then i'm just gonna have to cut that thing in half..... :-?

Let me knw what you guys think.

what i did was...

I cut the stock colt shifter down to the flat part, then took a 92 eclipseGSX lever and chopped it off at the base. Then i took the top portion from the 92, and trimmed an inch off it and welded it to the colt base.

It looks and works great!
