Turn on my headlights, couldn't see the gauge light and the taillights. But if I hit the brake, taillights is on/working. Get under the hood, put new fuse (blue/15) and voila it's working. All lights on. But my radio won't work at all. Turn off all the lights and then my radio is working. Turn back my lights and it's off again. At this point the radio still working. I did not turn off my radio. Bought four new bulbs for my taillights, put new fuse for my radio (red/10) and taillights(blue/15) and STILL only my radio is working. Sadly now I can only drive my 1.5 GL during the day only. Help guys...?

i knowyour problem HAHA you hook the (usually yellow)memory wie yo your light wire ;) dont feel bad... i have done it too
instead hook it up to the FACTORY harness as best as you can...(p.s aftermakets radios usually have no need for the light switch... to try te other wire you didint use on tht harness and all should be koo

But it was working good before. I install that radio probably a month ago and this thing just happen last week. Do I have to re-wire again?

how did you connect the wires together? cause if it's a new development then the wires COULD have come loose and are not touching something else :) heh

use connectors man, dont soolder, wolder is very weak and not very conductive.
Use those things you have to crimp, i forget what here called. It also looks cleaner then solder.

Yup... I did use those stuff. Also when I installed it, I had my Manual Book on the side. What I'm saying is, very litle chance that wrong wiring caused this problem. But, I guess I will have to look at it again.

it's the only reason i can think of as to why your radio turns off when you turn on your lights....
