Okay, I have a slight problem now that my car is back together. What appears to be the ground wire for the alternator visibly has no where to plug into. I'm assuming it's the ground because it's black and is the biggest wire coming from the harness off the back. Can someone please tell me where this goes?

Our alternators aren't grounded. (ok well they are but the body of the alternator is the ground and is grounded through the engine block....)

So does someone have a wiring diagram to show where this thing plugs into. Or even just pop your hood and look. It has a female connector on it.

positive to the battery

did you remove your mpower steering pump in the process of putting the car back together?
if so, it is the high idle switch, which raises the idle when the pum has a load on it, no need to wory about it

On the 1.5 setup that wire that comes outta the altenator harness is for the oil light. It's got like a hollow cylinder connector on it?

That's what jmauld told me and that explains why it wants to stall when going around slow corners. Now if I could only firgure out what else is wrong with it.
