have a 89 colt wagon awd, want to swap a 4G61 into it but not sure how. can i use the stock awd trany?? is this even possible?? and how bought a cost of the engine and parts. oh yeah BTW i'm Lucas, a noob to the DSM world |

yes you can use A AWD tranny if you want to swap for a 4g61T(note the T) the info is in the archives as for a AWD tranny that goes w/ a 4g61 im not sure as my 4g61 is FWD but i think it will work |

use the 4g63t swap as a guideline. The swap is the same with the expection of mounts (not sure turbo colt mount are the right ones) if you buy a JDM motor from a shop, most of them come with AWD 5spd tranny's, so you can swap the guts (flywheel, PP and clutch) take a look around cardomain.com there a vista with a 63t in it
