Any ideas where I can find a new , or at least a clean fuel pump assembly for the 89 CSM hatchback? Non turbo and turbo models must share the same gas tank and fuel assembly. Am I wrong? But I also assume the tanks and assembly are different between the sedan and hatchback. My other thoughts are to size up a DSM assembly and modify it to suit. |

That might be a Colt assembly. What happened with the fuel feed line? Is that modified, or broken? |

Compare to the fuel pickup assembly in my build thread. I compared an 89 turbo pickup and later model 4g15 pre-93. Look for gas tank restoration photos and you will be within one or two pages of where the pickup assembly photos lie. The one pictured above would have been modified to allow for AN pass thru fitting to be used. They have a pair of nylon sandwich washers between the threaded/nut portions. |

Ok that sounds right, this was most likely the one that was in my 90 hatch before i went to a fuel cell. it had a bulkhead fitting in it.. 6 or 8an to hose barb inside the tank. if you want the hanger just throw me $20 and ill ship it out on monday. The one pictured above would have been modified to allow for AN pass thru fitting to be used.
