Crazy, but I have tuned more DSMs this year than any other year since 2005.

Quick street tuned a Galant Vr4 yesterday, and after diagnosing a bad COP, had it at 40psi and rippin' in just a few pulls.

Just wanted to post that I was quite surprised at the spool for a 70+ lbs/min turbo. We saw 30psi @ 4200 in 3RD gear!!! No room for 4th gear pulls, but it can be assumed it would be a bit faster in 4th. Sucker held 40psi to redline too. 8.5 to 1, 2.0, E85. Factory Holset turbine, full divided set up. Real Crower 272s, 16cm divided Holset turbine No fancy tricks.

This was a "3 pull" tune just to get the car driving well enough for him to put some miles on it-far from done. May be on the dyno with it in a month if time permits.

That is all. Keep boostin'

That thing spools a ton better than the Bolt-on Bullseye .55 housing hx40 I had on my car. What kinda airflow number were you seeing? Stock intake manifold, intercooler piping size??? My t3 cast wheel 3582r isn't seeing full boost until like 6k and trying to figure out what's causing it whether it's the old Forrester intake manifold, the old turbo or what? I've got this 6466 sitting here staring at me and I've kinda been itching to throw it on and see what changes. It should pretty much be a direct swap after plugging some coolant lines.

I can have the guy email me the log. I mean hell I set up the base tune right? :)

Its a Magnus IM, old scool. 2.5 pipes. Do you have an .82 turbine? Still pretty slow. If you have link cotroling boost try to mad the duty cycle to the top port and pull a little timing out of iton spool up. I can take a peek at it next time your in town if you like- but looking at your vids I'd say she's rockin!

That's crazy compared to my 16g 4g61t Colt, full boost in 3rd 15psi @ 5k RPM lol. but it is on stock exhaust.

Pretty damn impressive for that setup. And yea I'm still on the .82 with Link controlling boost from both top and bottom port off the solenoid. My issue is in between shifts (8500) I'm going down to as little as 7psi while it ramps back up. Might be keeping the trans alive but definitely not helping me. Like you said though, it's running decent and planning to switch the setup a bit over winter anyway so might as well leave it for now and not mess with it too much.

I have seen gates hang open. Its worth checking if you have an issue. Take it off-it it with air, see if it shuts quickly on its own. Make sure your bottom port is on a INTAKE MANIFOLD souce, and the top port is SEEING BOOST when you are in ramp up.
